God, what would you have me talk about today? I’m recording with the regular old smart phone ear buds today… I wanted to minimize the things I’m carrying in my pockets. Cause it’s warmer. When it’s colder I wear a hoodie. So in essence my hoodie becomes my man purse. And I absolutely had an attachment to using the Shure mic… Should I take a risk, live life on the edge, and recored w/o the fancy mic. Life is good when you’ve got these sorts of questions to deal with. So you my tiny audience, thank you for taking this risk with me… Of going with the standard headphone mic or the earbuds. It can seem such a mission critical decision. Which is such a great analogy for so many of life’s decisions which I can deem as mission critical when it's not. Often times it’s the wrong decisions that lead to the coolest stuff.
The main point was how distressed I was in yesterdays mediation. And was so concerned that it was gonna carry into the day. But actually it freed me to have an amazing day.
Todays mediation was awesome… Focused on breath and the thoughts were fleeting. There was no turmoil or clock watching. It was a pleasant surprise when the timer went off. And then I will stay in that space for a few more minutes.
I’ve been crying some the last few days… Chopped as been triggering me lol. Their passion strikes a cord in me and I will shed emotions.
Letting go of expectations and outcomes and crying out the change and how life is. Change is inevitable. There is nothing but change and since it’s all change perhaps there is no change :).
Seeing life through a new lens today. Very in the moment right now. The freedom from letting go of emotions and expectations and things like that.
