Table Rush Talk Show!

The importance of MEDITATION and the ENTREPRENEURIAL JOURNEY.

Episode Summary

I love mediation. It’s very powerful connecting with a “Higher Power” or “Source” as a way to co-create with the universe. As I slow down, breath, and tap into that connection I am able to stay more focused. And a quick tangent on the stimulus that is presented to us on social media. The “shiny object” guys. I’m more of an old beater truck guy. BUT I do have my social proof. Some one upmanship. We all drive what we drive for status reasons. The meditation helps me be okay with what I've got, where I am, slow down. So I’m much more efficient when I’m working. And it helps me to have calm in the storm.

Today we're going to discuss the importance of meditation and connecting with source and the entrepreneurial journey, and how it can help a lot. And I'm gonna get to that in a second. You get to hear the intro, but I also just it was so beautiful out tonight. As I was walking, I really wanted everybody to get a glimpse of the sunset. That is the Pacific Ocean off in the distance. There's the peak ocean view. But how about that, and this is the Encinitas Park. The great thing about Southern California. I don't know if you can see this too. There's the freeway, the I Five freeway. So we've got like, Yay, glory, or whatever. amazingness. And then, right over here. There it is. Right, can you There we go. There's all that there's the freeway, see all the cars right above my melon. Hey, don't forget to subscribe as well. I'm trying to point. Don't forget to subscribe. I believe it's right in that corner right down there. But one more look, there was a good shot of the Pacific Ocean over there. Okay, intro, and then I'll be back.

Mischa Zvegintzov

And I'm back. Meditation. I love me some meditation. And I've, how do I want to approach this? First off, get your MV 88 Plus, or your MV 88. microphone so you can record while you walk? There's the freeway. Really good shot of the freeway. You know, the phones never do it justice. But hold on one sec. Thank you for indulging me. Where's the turnaround thing? Doesn't matter. No, I wouldn't edit this. Although I should Damn it get to the point man. Meditation. I love some meditation. And it's super powerful to meditate and connect with your higher power, source, to co create with the universe. And I find is that as long as I consistently try and slow down, breathe, tap into that connection. I'm able to stay more focused. During the times I work. I'm able to I'm able to...

Mischa Zvegintzov

I'm just looking at the view again. In the sunset. Oh my god, I'm sorry. You know, I am doing all this. I'm going to give you a total quick tangent. Because, you know, as I'm playing around on the social media more posting, like mad, right, all these video clips and my thoughtful thoughtful thoughts. You know, we get bombarded with with with how other people post and how they promote themselves and, and all this stuff. And there's I came across a guy today who you know, came across my feed and he was yacht guy, cigar guy. You know, young guy crushing clearly. But part of the success that he was super proud of was you know, a cigar girls dance in Champagne. Crowds of people. And God bless, right? Like, I had my, my time with, with wanting that. But that's just not me today, man. I'm like, I'm like, no brief walk, connect. Like, slow down. So that you can connect so I can connect so I can be that much more efficient when I work, so, but anyway, this guy was showing off some fancy cars and whatever. And then there was this other post. Who's the funnel and traffic? I think it's funnels and traffic. Tyler Johnson. I think that's the dude's name. A traffic and funnels guy.

Mischa Zvegintzov

Hey, If you happen to watch this oh my god, I am so humbled right now. But you had this post Tyler, I think that's your name, you have this post where you like I'm selling my Porsche, you know, 534 S T. Turbo and getting the you know, the my one year old turbo Porsche. You know, the suit most souped up Porsche you can get right now. So I can buy something else. I can't remember what it was. And does anybody want to buy it? So that was his Facebook post. And I was thinking, Oh, my God, like, what a, what a subtle way to, or not so subtle way to be like, Look at my success. You join my tribe. These are the shiny objects you get. And again, I love that good. That's super motivating for a lot of people. And it's cool. And it's all good. I'm not Pooh poohing it. And as a matter of fact, I'm getting to the point.

Mischa Zvegintzov

That is why I showed you my Pacific Ocean sunset view. As I was walking, doing my daily walk, I was like, Oh, yeah. Here's what I get it. Oh my god. So I was having a little one upsmanship and trying to give you proof of proof of my life. Right. And I'll be honest with you, I drive a like a 2001 beat up Ford pickup truck, and hand side barely ever drive. And I'm like, that's all I need more than suffices. Now and then I do some work on my little house. And, and. And I can I can throw crap in the back I can whatever beat on it. And I don't care and and I get that from my father to my father was like a property guy, he was like, you invest in the piece of property that you want. Not the vehicle, not the depreciating asset. And and I'll give you one more little bit of a tangent in that regard. Well, I got a bunch more of attention in that regard. But it's like at this point, buying a new car is a waste of resources. Like I don't need it. And like the amount of resources it takes to produce that new car versus the inefficiency of my exhaust system, polluting the economy, the environment. You know, it's the lesser of two evils.

Mischa Zvegintzov

But I will say this, we all drive what we drive for status reasons. And, you know, Tony Robbins. I've seen him talk about that live, what kind of car do you drive? Why are Russell Brunson talking about that, like Russell Brunson? You know, he's had tremendous success. And his wife's like, I just want I just want a minivan. I just want a minivan. I don't need the, you know, she wants to portray humbleness, and she is humble, obviously. But it's she doesn't want to you know, stand out from her from her school moms. i And I say that with love, right. From her circle of of mom friends said with love right and, and so I do not like I like to portray Yeah, cars don't matter to me. Because look how centered I am. Right. So it's all good. I judge none of the above have a kick ass shiny car if you want or don't have a raggedy old truck if you want or don't hell with it have both. The other thing is I'm six foot two. And I got super long legs relative to torso. And so the sports cars you know what? It's such a far way for me to get in and out of those. Those sports cars. Whenever I got a buddy that I hop in there, whatever they've got their BMW or they're this or that God bless them it's some some work to get out of it. Holy mackerel, hey youngsters, that's what you have to look forward to as you get older. So yeah,

Mischa Zvegintzov

What was all? How did they get started here? What was I talking about meditation, and I will tie all this together. But the meditation helps me be okay with what I've got where I am, slow down, meditate and you're, I am so much more efficient when I'm working. And it helps me to have calm in the storm. That's what I like. I have calm in the storm. It helps me to it's just helped me so much. I'll talk more about meditation and entrepreneurship. Another episode because this one's run to 10 minutes already. But Sports Car Guys love you. I do Tyler Johnson. I hope you get to watch this. I hope you were able to sell your Porsche via your Facebook post. And you know what? I hope you're coveting my evening walk right now. Anyway, it's gone dark completely. Love to all keep charging, fighting the fight and do some meditation. So we can not take ourselves so seriously. Bye
