Trying to be cognizant of the 8 minute episode w/o into’s and outro’s.
The purpose of this episode: the vision of yoga at this house. I’ve been walking for a while. The last heavy breakup… 6 or 7 years ago… I had to start walking. Sometimes that’s the only way to get over a breakup is to walk. Lots of walking.
The house I’m in was built in 1949, adobe bricks, stacked on top of each other. It’s right be the Self Realization Fellowship. The SRF. Which was founded by Yogananda whatever his same is.
So I’ve been walking these neighborhoods for a number of years now and 3 years ago I stumbled across this house. Old as heck and full of deferred maintenance. And I didn’t tell anyone until I couldn’t back out. Because I didn’t want anyone changing my mind.
When it past the point of being able to back out I told the boys and other people who immediately thought I was crazy.
I started building out the back yard to do yoga, with these cool concrete pads and such… And as I’ve started to do yoga at the house again I’ve started having the vision of yoga happening in the back yard again. There’s still some work to be done in the backyard but it may be good enough as is… I could take the messy action and start getting some people to lead some yoga and breath classes back there.
What a great platform I’m creating in the 2CCX if I want to bring that all together…
